Learning Log < In class >week 19


                Today is 20th  October, 2013. It’s the second day for teaching lesson plan 2 and many students to prepare about teaching test. For today, it’s just tenth persons for teaching test.

                The first person, she teaches about speaking of the number and currency of Asean. She teaches conversation of exchange rate. For example
A: Excuse me. Could you tell me what today’s exchange rate for the Vietnam Dong is?
B: It’s _____________. I like her teaching because she brings the knowledge back. It’s reading number. The second person, she uses video in Warm-up and teaches Singapore. She teaches Singapore and teaches reading skill; skimming, summarizing and scanning. She uses past simple tense for reading of teaching by giving the history of Singapore education article. The third person, she starts by opening cartoon video. I like this video because it’s motivating every students and make to student ready to Asean Community. She has a game by look at the different of 2 pictures and writes the country of Asean. Then, she teaches writing letter. I really enjoy and bring her teaching for applying in my teaching. The forth person, she teaches about places of Singapore. she opens the sound of conversation about booking a flight ticket. The fifth person, she opens video and teaches bargaining the prices. She teaches currency of Singapore and focus bargaining of conversation by giving the task next class. The sixth person,  she opens video which it’s about asking price. She bring the souvenir of Vietnam and teaches structure of asking price for example “How much is it goods?” It’s price. The interesting teaching is specific video because it’s focus asking the price. The seventh person, he teaches fight ticket. He gives the reservation of airline in website. The eighth person, she teaches exchange of Malaysia and has a game. It’s about matching currency. The ninth person, she gives the flag country of Asean and stick it to the meaning of flag. After that, she teaches scanning in writing skill. The tenth person, he teaches about country, nationality and capital. He uses structure for teaching them. Teacher Anirut summarize teaching today that “Student uses CLT, authentic material. When you teach, you should think of bring knowledge to use out class. Now, teacher uses the book and don’t use internet for teaching. So, the book isn’t necessary for teaching. CLT is the important for teaching in the world. The three pattern one teacher to student, student to teacher and student to student. Teacher should give student talk the most in the classroom.”

          Today is 19th   October, 2013. It’s the first time for teaching lesson plan 2 and many students to prepare about teaching test. For today, it’s just thirteenth persons for teaching test.         
          The first person, she opens video before. She teaches about Laos and show vocabulary of places. Her exercise fills in the blanks by listening from the sound. I think that she has less about material. The second person, this is my teaching test. I teach about the identity of Laos in speaking skill. They are six things such as food, musical instrument of Laos, monetary, country, flower and traveling places. My objective are matching the question and answer cards and conversing of identity of Laos. I think that I should improve that specific about a topic such as food. The third person, she teaches about food of Malaysia such as ketupat. She teaches reading skill. She uses “True of Fault” for teaching. Her teaching is enjoying every time because she can motivate student every time by reading strange vocabulary. The forth person, she teaches traveling place of Laos by playing a game before and she opens video about traveling places. She teaches writing skill and relates comparison. I think that she has to prepare or load about video before teaching because it’s cutting the time. The fifth, she teaches about foods of Singapore and ordering food for example “Waiter: Excuse me. Would you like to order now? Customer: Yes. I’d like the Fish Head Curry. ” The vocabularies are Rojak, Yong Tau Foo, Fish Head Curry. The sixth person, she teaches about traveling places of Brunei such as kampong Ayer. She teaches about reading skill by using news. I think that she should improve about speaking English and make understand about the lesson more but her lesson plan is interesting because she uses the news for bringing to the lesson. The seventh person, she opens video before and teaches about traveling places of Singapore such as Singapore zoo, universal studios Singapore. She teaches writing skill for writing post cards. Her teaching is very interesting because she focuses the writing post cards and use authentic material. The eighth person, she use video in warm – up and teaches about recommend of places in Malaysia. The ninth person, she teaches about do and don’t of rules in Malaysia. This is the best pattern for teaching do and don’t of culture in Malaysia. The tenth person, she teaches currency of Asean such as Indonesia = Rupi, Malaysia = Ringgit, Philippine = Peso. The eleventh person,  she uses a game in warm – up by matching the flag of Asean and the name of country. Her teaching is reading skill. The twelfth person, she teaches writing traveling places of Vietnam and her teaching is writing. Moreover, she uses adjective for teaching writing. The thirteenth, she teaches about currency of each country of Asean. After that, teacher Anirut summarizes from teaching test; “In the day, some teachers aren’t focus student and read the content more. The best example is Wannisa because she specific for writing post cards. After study finished, she gives the task for students”. When you teach content base learning, you have to evaluate the content. And the important, activity of teaching should have several.

Today is Wednesday 9th October, 2013. This is the second day for teaching test of lesson1. I have to go to Race building. They are 3 persons who don’t teaching test and don’t pass teaching test. They are ready to teaching test and prepare about the interesting material for teaching.
          The first person, she teaches about ordering food by giving many vocabularies for students and student have to bring vocabulary stick on the board. After that, teacher teaches about the structure of ordering food; “What would do you like?” After that, student converse in front of the class. She can manage in the class and teaching fluency and accuracy. The second person, she shows video before and teaches about giving direction and show the picture cards of direction. After that, she teaches the structure of giving of direction. She is very exciting. Her video is the best video because wit focus the giving direction such as “Excuse me, could you tell me to place?” From teacher Anirut advice that 3 things; edit by myself, edit by friend and edit by teacher. The third person, she teaches about food in NSTR by playing game and show video of cartoon. From teacher Anirut advices that “Student should learning by doing”.  Speaking skill should focus fluency. After that, the person who don’t pass teaching test. The first person, she teaches occupation in Naratiwat and teaches about asking and answering of occupation. Next person, she teaches about traveling places and asking and answering of direction. Moreover, she gives conversation video of direction. Next person, he teaches about Satun and teach adjective for example, “This is noisy place”.
   
          In conclusion, there are 3 persons for teaching test. The best rubric is the first person of teaching test and we should bring to example. Some person who wrong dress and teacher advise to him. In my opinion, I know that my friends are preparing for teaching test and agree with the mistakes. Every comment may make some one don’t agree but for me, I like it because I can’t know by myself and the people who see and observe me are teacher and my friends.

Learning Log < In class >week 19


                Today is Monday 7th October, 2013. The time is 8.00 a.m. I have to go to Race building because teaching test is about local in lesson plan 1. My friends have to teaching test and they are preparing for teaching. There are 9 peoples for teaching test. This time is teaching all day. Each people teach different topics such as traveling place, food, occupation, direction, reservation hotel, activities. Moreover, they have many different games for teaching but many things which they have to improve.
         
               The first person, she prepares about material well but some thing is wrong; pronounce “Excuse me” and use the wrong sentence; “Are you understand?”  The second person, she teaches about traveling place and teach vocabulary; cave, waterfall, beach. The third person, he teaches about activities when you go some where. He improves about conversation which they are too much. The forth person, she teaches about listening skill and she manages by giving students movement. The fifth person, she teaches about occupation in Trang. She improves her rubric because she doesn’t edit by her sentences. The sixth, she teaches the food in Nakhon Si Thammarat. Her game is the jigsaw of food. She teaches the structure is “What food do you like?” The seventh person, she teaches about Songkhla and asking and giving direction. The eighth, he teaches about type of hotel by giving brochure each hotel in Nakon. His game is rearranging the word which they are the type of room in the hotel. The last person, she teaches about “either and neither” which they are telling feel of each person. She has to improve; choose the only one.
          To sum up, there are 9 persons to present lesson1 and many things which they improve about rubric, task, pronounce and movement. Some one teach different other person because he teaches about hotel but the most other person teach direction. In my opinion, I think that I can bring the edit word of teacher for improving my next lesson and many thing I have to improve such movement of student, rubric which I think that it’s very difficult for editing in my own sentence.
