Today, 24th June,
2013. My friends present the methods of teaching English. There are six methods
and I ever learnt last week. Its may old content but present again. They are
lots of content and must make understand.
The first method, vocabulary teaching
is learning the new words by starting communicating. Teacher gives pictures or
list the new words for learner think out the meaning of word. The second
method, teaching pronunciation is speaking like a native speaker. Students must
practice by listening friendly pronunciation. It helps students converse with
native speaker in the social. There are 4 steps of teaching. The first steps,
warmer; teacher are going to learn this class and use activities. The second
step, listen; student listen the voice from teacher. The third steps, focus;
teacher shows sound chart or phonetics symbol. The last step, pronunciation
practice; divide student pair or group work and teacher walk around the
classroom. The third method, culture teaching is teaching about each country
such as greeting, foods, dress and festival. There are six ways for teaching
such as describing, demonstrating, group work, role-play, learning outside and
use CAI. <Aj. Anirut say that culture is very important of into Asian.
Teacher use mini drama of culture or culture kid. > The forth method,
communicative language teaching <CLT> is using teaching step <3P>;
presentation, practice and production. Moreover, teacher can use pre = present, while = practice and post =
production. The last method, teaching English using <ICT> is using
technology for teaching. Teacher can use 3 kinds of WBI such as stand – alone
is “Students study by themselves and officer control them, web supported is
teacher and student use web page for communicating and web pedagogical.” After
that teacher Anirut gives the work. It’s syllabus design by student must crate
it. Teacher gives plan for doing lesson plan correctly.

To sum up, the work is syllabus design
and send next week. Student must think about
the topic, vocabulary, grammar and skill by themselves. The topic of work is English for Thais student and teacher give four unit, Local, Regional, global and glocal. Before doing, students think that “What grade do you want to teach?” showing the tool; rubric. Students must send next week. For my opinion,
I think that it has a lots of home work today and I must do learning log inclass
and outclass. I’m very tried. However, I will do for the best working and try
and try.
