Learning Log < In class week 2>

             

           Today is May, 10^th ,2013. Students must present about content of English teaching which teacher choose the topic for presenting today. However, every student group must ready, prepare themselves and understand about their topic. The topics are a belief of language, Content based and Problem base learning.  

          

           There are three methods for teaching English; a belief of language, Content based and Problem base learning. The first method, a belief of language is clinging to instruct by teacher and student must discuss every time. Teacher gives the topic for student. Student must search this topic and bring it for discussing in the classroom. It called student’s learning that “autonomous”. The second method, Content based is learning by doing by student listen teacher, summarize on the paper and present before the class. This method must do by group work because student must brainstorming and working together. And the last method, Problem based learning choose a problem. It’s like process of science which set a problem and edits it by processing. For example “How do Tomyumkung cooking?” by student may write the process, thinking and searching. This method set group work for brainstorming.

          

             

             To sum up, the three methods emphasize the center of students. They may discuss about topic, think and summarize on the paper and use the process of thinking by science principle. In my opinion, these methods are very important for my teaching because, I can choose these for applying with teaching English but depend on situation.
